Support for loop points

After the problem of loading mono samples is solved, there remains one more thing about importing existing samples.

Import loop points encoded in sample files, such as .wav files.

Loop points represent a significant part of the samples, without them we only have the import of audio files.

Thank you for the feedback. We will look into how we can import the metadata.

I second this. I use software such as SampleRobot which is great at automatically detecting loop points and can export with that data so having samplers that can support this data is super valuable to us sound designers.

I confirm that this has been requested already by a few of other sound designers, we will do our best to add this.

Even if there was an option to display the loop start and end point in samples instead of the current percentages, at least would allow us to loop outside soundbox prior to importing, and input the exact sample values in.

I’m very old school for looping - I maintain an ancient Old School PPC G4 Titanium PowerBook specifically to run Antares Infinity for looping duties. The best sample looping software of all time hands down!

SampleRobot is very good as well as mentioned!

Our next update is in progress, but it requires a bit more time as we’re implementing new controls and automatic loop detection. However, we already have a beta version and are working hard to release it as soon as possible.
