Came to think of. Would be really cool to be able to use an Audio input (like the VST sidechain input for the plugin, or just regular audio in for standalone), and be able to trigger recording of loops of incoming audio into loopmix in realtime. Say using a (midi:able) record button for each loopmix channel (and, possibly, via some kind of sequencer record trigger step). That way, you could live improvise stuff into loopmix, and then have loopmix alter/chop it up, while adding the next layer. Would make loopmix a great live performance tool as well.
Hi @rydan
Loopmix isn’t currently designed for that use case and would require significant changes to the core engine. That said, we agree it’s a great idea and will explore whether it could be implemented.
