Preparation of a loop for import

Is there a general guideline for own loop preparation for import?
What is the ideal range of BPM , bars, etc so that loop mix correctly chops the beats.
Cannot find anything in user manual or on these forums

Hi paul42muka,

Loopmix has been designed to automatically stretch loops to fit your DAW project BPM and has been tested to be accurate 90% of the time so no additional tweaking is required. Loopmix can handle Loops up to 1 min in length regardless of BPM and bars.

However, in some cases you may find that you need to adjust the Loop Speed (X1, X2 etc…) or the Sequencer rate (1/8 , 1/16 etc…) to get more detailed results.

thank you for taking your time for a robotic answer.
I figured it out in the meantime.
120bpm, 4 bars, first hit has to be right on the mark,
then the beats parse correctly.
please feel free to use this secret knowledge for any future clients.

Apologies if I didn’t understand your question.

Loopmix does not have a dedicated sample editor so imported loops have to be correctly cut to perform in perfect sync.
