Great works really well, apart from unlocking - I have all 3 paid expansions from desktop all installed, please don’t expect me to buy one again to unlock this iOS version, please think about it, thanks

They say in their blurb just above (and it’s an Audiomodern working practise, it seems) that expansions bought on PC are also then available on IOS, so no worries.

Pack import doesn’t seem to be working atm, though, so that’s where Macmoffat’s concerns are coming from.

I have installed my bought expansions, there was no problem.
One I downloaded from Audiomodern and the other two air dropped from my Mac (much quicker). I have reservations about the real estate these huge expansions take up on an iPad. Never the less the app remains locked !!! Only to be unlocked with an in app purchase. Have I made myself clear ?
Point number 2, A future expansion is going to cost € 29- € 39, this is iOS you must be dreaming.
My mistake - you’re right. My packs also installed with no problem. I thought they hadn’t because I still see the packs for sale and shown as new in my ‘sounds’ folder, even after hitting restore a couple of times.
Hello! All Soundbox instruments can be installed on any device, so there’s no need to purchase the same library twice. However, the unlocking process for the iPad version is only available through in-app purchases, as we currently don’t share account data between our website and the App Store. While this might change in the future, for now, the iPad version’s sample manager can only be unlocked via IAP, whereas the desktop version uses a license key. With that said, please check your inbox!
Free libraries will continue to be free on all platforms, while paid libraries will maintain consistent pricing across platforms. We only anticipate users purchasing libraries that align with their genre and composition needs.
Sorry Guys next issue, moved the sounds to an external drive all was well. After a break and new start Soundbox can’t open the files although the path is valid and the wave files in the imported samples folder are all visible and can be imported by other software eg Drambo. I am going to install all 4 packs again to the default folder and move them later, as I mentioned before theses packs are huge for iOS I only have a 128 GB iPad. I’ll let you know how this goes. I had hoped to make some music instead of this but you guys are great so far so I will continue with the re import.

Today the same issue. Soundbox shows error missing audio files. I thought I had fixed it with a quick drive, unfortunately not. I can even load the “missing” audio into the sample window makes no difference, today it is not working from the external drive.

I store my content on an external drive too. I opened a ticket for the same type of issue a couple of weeks go, and the recommendation from Audiomodern was to reinstall, and that fixed it, temporarily. It happened again a couple of days ago. This time, I got a tip from a friend who had me try a workaround that didn’t require a complete reinstall and re-download:
Copy the contents of the folder where Soundbox current points, to a new folder, with a different name
In the settings change the location to the new folder
Say No to transferring the contents
Try browsing the packs and the presets again
I tried that and it worked for all packs except for a custom pack that I had created myself and edited. All the sounds for Mechania, Kromium and the Demo pack worked again.
I really hope that Audiomodern sees this thread because it looks like a real issue. The steps I tried are unofficial, so maybe Audiomodern has a better answer.

Thanks edzbflat that worked for now, are you the creator of Ed Z Test Pack 1, which I installed earlier with some difficulty, no worries I couldn’t install the IAP s either. If this continues I will move back to desktop, my life is too short to spend days f****ing about with it. ………. Didn’t last though

Yep - I created the Ed Z Test Pack 1. I understand your position. I do 90% of my music related stuff on mobile, so while I have the desktop version, I only use it for a bit of testing and experimentation.
