Select random preset in Playbeat 4

There’s so many presets available in Playbeat 4, that it requires a lot of scrolling, even within a Genre, to explore presets. If there was a way to have Playbeat select a random preset that would be a great help and make finding new presets easier. Here’s my requests in order of importance:

Way to select a random preset (globally)
Way to select a random preset (within Genre/Style/Pack)
A MIDI control to select a random preset

Lastly, if there was a MIDI option to use a PC command, I could easily use an external MIDI tool to randomly select a PC and Bank randomly from a range. I’ve done it with other drum apps on iPad.

Hi @edzbflat

We don’t have this exact option at the moment, but we do offer something quite similar. By randomizing (All) without selecting a genre, you’ll generate a completely new groove and sound set. This isn’t a preset from the list but a freshly created one. The same applies when randomizing with genre(s) selected.

About a MIDI command to select a preset, we will explore our options for adding it.
