Hi,
When setting Lock MIDI Output, it is not longer possible to randomise Pitch events, which doesn’t feel like it should be the case. Lock MIDI Output should only lock the MIDI out channels or notes?

Hi, currently locking the MIDI output notes also locks the Pitch tab, which controls Playbeat’s real-time pitch shifting engine. This design ensures that the Pitch tab settings are reflected in the output, as the engine sends pitch data directly to the output.
Most users prefer this behavior, but if we receive enough feedback requesting otherwise, we could develop a system where the output operates independently from the Pitch tab values.
In my case I’m running PB4 into channels 2-9 of another instrument, which I use lock MIDI for to prevent a change to the outputs. These 8 channels support pitch change, so I want to be able to randomise / change pitch in this configuration in real time during playback. I’d just have to disable lock midi to accomplish that, but then changing presets might then reset the MIDi outs.
If you aren’t using multiple midi out channels I can imagine locking might be preferable.
