Well, I’m the latest one to be confused by the website icons showing separate sound packs for Playbeat.
Audiomodern,
Would you please consider adding a tag to each sound, showing the name of the pack it came from, so we can peruse the sounds that belong together and are of the same ilk? Thanks.
Yes, it can be possible to tag the appropriate pack next to the preset name. We will see what options we have without breaking the current implementation.
I get what you’re saying with how PB4 works. Many of the presets have the same name but it’s just pack name replaced with PB4. So like Ripple Drill Beat 14 is now PB4 Drill Beat 14.
I love how most previous presets are included with PB4. That’s awesome.
I still want the archive just so it’s easier to move old projects from 3 → 4.
Hi, well, that’s very odd… when I filter Afro/Caribbean, I get THREE PRESETS! This cannot be all the contents of the PANA pack which states it is Afro/Caribbean… surely that’s not it. Also if I play the sample file on your website, there are other sounds and rhythms which are not at all like the three “included” sounds… so something seems amiss there?
EDIT:
The good folks at Audiomodern sent the PANA pack, and indeed there are 10 Afro Caribbean presets which did not come with Playbeat4. I think they are going to be checking all packs vs the presets available within the app.
Hi, we’re in the process of updating our factory library with even more sounds, styles, and presets soon. We’ll look into this issue as part of that update.
