Guide: how to get midi out to work to microtronic in fl studio

i am struggeling getting midi out to work is there perhaps some guide somewhere?

i got it to work (made couple of edits)

some conditions you need:

  • have playbeat midi out port set and use the same port in microtronic to receive

  • a preset in playbeat 4 with midi out (the keys) mapped the same as what you see in microtronic if you right click there and select edit midi keys, also remove the sounds from playbeat all you need is patterns. also in playbeat midi output all tracks need to go to the channel you used for out. also playbeat needs to be on midi lock

  • microtronic has patterns build in each kit so what i ended up doing was deleting the patterns for a kit i liked and use that

  • it is however not needed if you keep microtronic on stop i find however that often i end up getting it on play so i prefer to delete it myself for those i actualy use but for browsing no need

Tip before you delete the microtronic pattern you could setup playbeat to import midi coming out of microtronic. for this you need to setup midi import to match microtronic its keys and simply use microtronics drag midi file of the pattern out option and drop it straight into playbeat. so now you can remix microtronic its pattern on the fly.
