I have .wav samples from yurt rock . I wanna use them in playbeat 4 and then save . Please guide me step by step . This should be very easy but I haven’t been able to figure it out . Mac
Use Playbeat standalone instead of the Playbeat inside of your DAW. Open up Playbeat and click where you choose a Song/Track. It may say ‘Empty’ until you choose a Song/Track.
Once clicked on the ‘Empty’ you go to the directory and samples layer/page. Simply click on one of the 8 samples on the right and Playbeat auto-opens your PC or MAC directory.

Once you have loaded all the samples you want into Playbeat you can just save as you would normally save a Preset. So, where it says ‘Empty’ and in that specific area where there is also a number of symbols like 
and Smart etc.. Click on the far right symbol which is ‘Save’. Playbeat will then give you a choice to give the Preset a name and also to categorize 3 music Genre’s related to what you’re doing.
Thank you . I’ll try that . I do believe o have tried to save samples so I could recall them later again from playbeat itself . In logic I was able to only save the logic session with playbeat and the samples I wanted but not recall them later as playbeat user samples …I’ll try this again . Once again thank you
Oh right. There is a lock symbol in the area where you load the 8 samples/wavs. This may help.
Also, the other way to save your own Playbeat pack with your own samples is again go to ‘Empty’ and go to the bottom left of the page and click on ‘Create New Pack’ then you’re presented with a blank image so you can add your own, plus, if you notice the pencil symbols next to ‘pack name’, ‘author’, ‘description’ this obviously where you can edit these.

Great perfect . I do notice in the video loading only one sample at a time …I’m ok with that but would prefer to load a file that houses more than one sample at a time …I haven’t made sure p4 can’t do that yet …thanks for the link and response !
