I am having issues with Playbeat 4 as it seems to not adhere to the mixer settings when exporting the “All Stems” button. No matter what I do, exporting the All Stems just creates a really loud sound file. I tried to change the Mixer settings to bring down the volume of the exported “All Stems” button but id just ignores it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
The Export All Stems function does respect the mixer settings but not the master volume. The mix balance remains intact, just not the overall master level by design. However, we could definitely update it so that the generated clip also takes the master volume into account.
If you’re having issues with this, do you mind sharing your preset with us in order to inspect what might be the issue?
Thanks you for your reply, much appreciated. As it happened, I was using the “PB4 Absence” preset. In the Mixer, I lowered the main volume at first to see if it would change anything to the “All Stems” export and it did not. It is just louder, and sometimes bordering on clipping.
Now having read your response, I tried moving all the sliders around the the half point (with some variation of course) and then when I export the “All Stems” the volume of the export is indeed lowered. Thanks for the heads-up about the Master volume. Updating it so that the generated clip would also take the master volume into account would be awesome.

You manually saved your mix by adjusting the individual levels.
