iOS Midi Channel change

Hi team,
I’m playing around with Chordjam and external gear. My external hardware is set up to receive Midi data on channel 2 but does not receive any notes from chordjam. I can confirm that the setting is working well with an external keyboard and also other iOS Apps e.g. Fugue Machine.

I tried changing the midi channel inside chordjam from omni to channel 2 using the settings from the upper right corner but still my external gear is not receiving any data.
I’m using a Conductive Labs - MRCC for midi routing which also allows me to see on which channel data is sent and I can confirm that regardless of the setting the midi data from chordjam is always sent on channel 1.
I checked in the iOS standalone app and AUM.

My version is 1.5.4

Expectation:
When changing the midi channel from omni to a specific channel e.g. channel 2, the midi data must only be sent on this channel.

Hi tobr,
May I please have a screenshot of your MIDI settings in Chordjam?

Hi and thanks for the response.

I was able to solve my issue. There is nothing wrong with Chordjam.
I did not realise the “Voice distribution” section on the Midi settings which allows me to set the individual voices to different Midi channels. I was confused by a video I watched, which had the Midi Channel setting per device and wasn’t able to find something similar in the latest app version.
