Guys. I really like your plugins. But this question is a bit strange. By far the most important feature request for all of your products is tooltips. And I’m not even talking about Documentation-Like tooltips with lengthy explanations like some requested. I just dont have any clue what half of the buttons in chordjam are supposed to do, so at least tell what these buttons are.
What is a circle made of two arrows mean? Refresh my browser from my DAW? And the straight two arrows pointing left and right? Run the sequence back and forth?
Whats the horizontal velocity handler supposed to mean? Ah thats a key, so it prevents parameters being changed? Certainly Not, but I only know that it prevents from being changed by randomness because Chordjam is the fourth tool from you guys I’m using.
I mean, guessing that the three dots are supposed to represent the three dots on a dice and therefore this button means ‘dice’ was easy. But it already failed to be intuitive and is a perfect example of why there is a talk with the design team necessary. If your designers get unmentionable diseases from drawing a square around the dots to emphasize that these three dots mean ‘dice’, then maybe you can convince them to at least use the dice-5… I hope that doesn’t make them suggest using the dice-1 (a single dot) instead, though.
As long as you are discussing with them designers about intuitiveness, please just add tooltips. It is a super low-hanging fruit that you let almost rot by now.
