I’ve noticed that there are a number of threads with questions and reported issues using MIDI out (and also MIDI export) with Playbeat 4.

I’ve used the MIDI out feature a fair bit and would like to share some of my experience with how it works, and some of things to be aware of. Many of the threads are for the desktop version of the app with Logic Pro, FL Studio, or another DAW. I use the iPad version, but I believe many of the MIDI out scenarios may carry over. A link to a spreadsheet with an overview of three common MIDI out scenarios and some other tips is included in the YouTube video description.
