is a instrument for Audiomodern soundbox.
We found an old Casio tone at a flea market in Poland. It worked
perfectly despite its age, so we brought it with us to Patagonia.
While playing the little Casio in the studio, I had an idea: What if I
recorded it playing through its built-in speaker, capturing its full
essence and using the best microphones, preamps, and compressors?
And what if we also took advantage of the opportunity to enhance its
tone by processing it through some of the studio’s pedals and effects?
That’s how PTone was born, a library that blends the nostalgia and
warmth of that 80´s sound with today’s sound design.
PTone is 42 sounds handmade with love and dedication. Sampled from a
lovely ancient casio keyboard, tweaked and twisted and processed with
analog and digital devices.
Whether you’re a producer of ambient, trap, pop, LoFi, neoclassical,
experimental music…, or want to add a touch texture and originality to
your next production in any genre, this is for you.
I hope this library is a source of inspiration and that you enjoy
these sounds as much as I do.

This is a great initiative! Having a centralized hub will make it so much easier for everyone to find new libraries and see what the community is building. Looking forward to seeing the dedicated space when it’s ready.

We’ve just released Movimento Strings for Soundbox! This is a large-scale, deeply detailed chamber string library which has been especially created to bring movement and life to your cinematic string sounds, particularly for long sustained notes which can sometimes feel static and lifeless.
It’s ideal for epic cinematic chords, fragile textures, ambient scoring, harmonic beds, expressive underscores, and more.
There are two versions…
Standard - where each of the four articulations are rendered into a ready-to-play mix that sounds great right out of the box. Simply load any of the patches and start writing!
Professional - which adds advanced tools like multiple mic positions and an ‘EXTRA’ performance pass to expand the ensemble while keeping it natural and organic-sounding.
We are really proud of this library, which is the first in a new flagship 4-part chamber string series, and would love to hear what you think of it!
