Playbeat 4 Midi Channel Output Settings not working in Logic

I have the Playbeat 4 ‘settings’ for midi output assigned midi 1 thru 8 with Playbeat in the Midi FX slot in Logic 11. On another track I have the Logic Brooklyn+ multi kit using the PB4 track as it’s internal source. I’m only getting midi data on midi #1. Is there any other settings in PB4 to allow midi output on the other other midi channels (2 thru 8)?
