Can hear the kits but when I go to main view the dots are not on, they look muted & I have no sound

Have you actually loaded a preset? You can double-click to load it.
I reinstalled & now it is ok
One other question, can I grab the whole MIDI pattern, not the actual parts & drag & drop into the instanced track in Logic… easiest way to do?
Sure, you can click on ‘Export’ button and you will find the available MIDI files on the ‘All Stems’ section. There you can either Drag or Click to export.
