Hello…I use Magix Acid 11 (the latest version) for my MIDI editor and it loads VSTi instruments fine and Im able to render to WAV…..However, something weird happens with Soundbox/Lumen: I load the VSTi and it wont play the MIDI notes I write/no sound…but the “keyboard” graphic will play manually….Heres where it gets weird: If I reload Soundbox/Lumen, it will now play the notes I wrote on the track and I hear playback fine…However, as soon as I go render to WAV, the WAV file is blank and, once again, it stops triggering from the MIDI screen…Its bizarre, strange, and has me perplexed…Any help is appreciated, thanks

here is a video of what it is/isnt doing described above……i load Sounbox…..it plays fine, midi notes entered fine…i go to render to wav….no sound on wav, and midi notes stop working but can still be triggered from the vsti keyboard….reload, everything works fine, repeat ad nauseum
Hi @urbanshokker, apologies for the late response.
We haven’t tested Soundbox with Magix ACID 11 yet. Is it possible that there’s a DAW-specific configuration or a particular setting for freezing / flattening instrument tracks that isn’t enabled?
Do you encounter the same issue if you record the output to another audio track in real time? Also, have you tried this workflow in a different DAW?
