I want to move SoundBox Favorites into My Own Pack on an iPad

I have several 3rd party packs, and today purchased Cosmo directly from my iPad. As I understand it that purchase entitles me to manipulate sounds, and move them. It doesn’t appear possible to drag a sound from one pack to another. Is there a video tutorial of this functionality specific to the iPad version. It is not obvious how to do this.

Hi, are you trying to move a sound from the Sample Manager or a preset into another pack? If your goal is to create custom packs, the easiest way is to save your new presets and then drag them into a new custom pack. Here’s how you can do it:

Dragging and dropping don’t work on the iPad. I purchased Cosmo on my iPad so I could carry out this functionality on the iPad and there appears no way to do it. I do have a MacOS desktop, but don’t want to have to purchase the pack again for the desktop in order to unlock SoundBox.

Dragging presets into a custom pack works on all devices, unless the preset is part of an expansion that’s locked by its creator. In that case, the expansion can’t be altered. To work around this, simply re-save the preset with a custom name before moving it.

Do you guys lock your packs? See this video… https://youtu.be/imdhcVhxl80 What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the video! No, we don’t lock our expansions. It looks like the app is preventing you from dragging presets directly from one pack into another.

While we look into this, could you try re-saving the preset under a different name (making sure the original pack is un-selected when saving so it doesn’t get added back there) and then drag the new preset into your custom pack?

The rename thing didn’t work either. Would you be willing to give me an unlock code for the desktop version? If it works there management wise, it seems like it would be easier.

Re-saving a preset should work on any device without issues. I’ve also sent you a license via PM so you can check it on your desktop setup.
