Can we have the ability to name tracks. even just two letters eg. BD, SN, will do.

Sounds like you are working on a lot! Is there a rough timeline for a new version?
We plan to release 3.1.8 this week which has a couple of bug fixes and few improvements, after that, assuming no critical OS issues appear, we will perhaps go straight to version 4 which we have already started working. Not an ETA at the moment, once we are closer to it we will make an announcement to this forum for our Beta.
As it is nearly 2 years this thread has seen the last post of the developer.
I really second this FR for naming tracks (additional icons would be cool).
