Where are MIDI CC Mappings Stored? Can they be shared?

I’ve configured all of Riffer’s accessible parameters for the Roto Control and publically shared a Roto Control preset, however to make use of it, a user would need to configure Riffer with the same MIDI CC mappings I used in the Roto Control preset.

Are the MIDI mappings accessible and can I share a file for example, that would allow a user to add to their folders to effectively ‘import’ the MIDI config?

Asking for both Riffer and Playbeat.

At the moment, this isn’t an option, but you can set up your CC mappings once and save them as a preset for future use.

OK great, I tried that, but it doesn’t seem to retain the MIDI CC mappings.

Steps:

  1. Create MIDI CC mappings, add to presets by clicking on a preset number
  2. Export preset file
  3. Delete MIDI CC mappings.
  4. Delete preset.
  5. Import preset from file, add presets number.
  6. Click on preset number
  7. Check MIDI CC mappings; no MIDI CC mappings are evident.

Am I misunderstanding something here? Should this be possible?

Apologies for the delay. It appears there’s a minor bug in Riffer with this type of setup. We’re working on it and will aim to release an update as soon as possible.
