I’m using Soundbox in AUM and the settings I’ve set in soundbox disappear. Settings may hold for a while, but the next day the app doesn’t load when opening an AUM session. When I select reload, it loads the app, but all the settings have been removed. My midi that was linked as input is gone and I will need to select the preset I made in Soundbox and start over.

Sorry to hear that, are you using the latest version available?
Can you tell me which exact settings are not recalled when re-opening your saved project?
I’m using Soundbox 1.1.2 with AUM 1.4.8. Soundbox does not load back into the session about 70% of the time. I have the option to reload Soundbox in the grayed out Soundbox AUM channel , but it only loads back with the empty Soundbox settings and nothing saved in my midi input. It’s basically like starting a new audio channel and selecting Soundbox and the Soundbox preset I want to use and also resetting my midi app option that I have controlling Soundbox. I’ve not yet purchased any of the packs and only use the free ones. I like the app, but want to make sure it works properly before I invest in packs.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. We currently have one additional user reporting this issue, and we’re actively investigating it. This behavior should not occur. We have an upcoming update (version 1.2.0) scheduled for release later this week, which we believe will resolve the problem. Please keep an eye out for the update, install it once available, and let us know if the issue is resolved.

Unfortunately the settings with version 1.2.0 still disappear when using in AUM. I was really hoping this would be fixed in new version, but now I’m reluctant to purchase any packs. Hopefully things will be fixed by next update.

Reported it some time ago.it doesn’t memorize setting in AU and standalone.
Same here, when recalling an AUM session who had a saved preset , soundbox appears at default state.

I also have an issue even if I save the session when I bring the session up after an AUM shutdown Soundbox does not reload. When I reload all my previous settings are gone.
I have a similar issue in Loopy Pro when I bring the session back up I have to reload the Soundbox session however the past settings are still there and I can continue

Sorry about this. We’ve submitted a new version (1.2.1) that we believe resolves the issue. Please update the app once the new version becomes available on the App Store.
Much appreciated! I’ll keep an eye on the App Store updates. These types of reload bugs are usually just a minor conflict with the host, so a quick point-release should do the trick.
Unfortunately the update did not change either the AUM issue of not reloading when coming back into the project. Nor did it change the issue of dropping out in Loopy Pro.
The issue seems only to be when I have multiple instances of Soundbox open.

With only one instance I don’t seem to have any issues at all.
I am using an M5 iPad Pro with 512G. I have tried uninstalling the products (AUM, Loopy Pro and Soundbox) and reinstalling without any joy. It may well be something I’m doing but I can’t see what.

That definitely sounds like a state-saving bug or a specific AUv3 recall issue. Have you checked if this happens only with Soundbox, or are other plugins in that same AUM session also losing their MIDI routing when you reload?
Looks like the last update (1.2.2) has fixed it. Early checking but seems fine now thanks.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. It is always much easier for the developers to identify specific UI or routing issues when they can see exactly how the plugin is behaving in the host environment.
