Riffed for iPad: midi note input

Hi. Does Riffer for iPad already lets you enter notes directly from a MIDI Keyboard to create a sequence ? That would be a great future to add, one that would put Riffer on par with Logic Pro Arpeggiator that already has this feature for a long time. Someone who works with MIDI controllers would really appreciate this, myself included of course. Thank you.

Hi @eduraf1968 ,

This isn’t currently possible, as the generated MIDI comes exclusively from the engine. While we’re working on a major update for Riffer, this feature isn’t on our roadmap yet. However, if more users request it, we’ll definitely consider adding it in the future.

Thank you very much for replying. That would be a great feature: imagine playing some notes with a MIDI keyboard and instantly Riffer would start playing your sequence without having to “figure out” the exact notes you want Riffer to play by clicking and un-clicking steps with your finger on screen. I’m absolutely sure you would sell even more of this excellent app because many keyboardists like me would instantly buy it and start using it. The random option is great but as you may agree, gives you little control of the result. Think about it for V4.0 !
