Hi, my humble suggestion for something I really wish playbeat would do:
give me the ability to use infinity mode as a fill at interval, or in other words,
remix every Nth bar but otherwise return to the ‘main’ beat. the relevant parameters the user might want to input here would be (a.) how often to create a remixed pattern, then (b.) how long to hold that remixed pattern. So if you set it to a=2, b=2, then your main pattern would play for two bars, then a remix would play for two bars, then your main pattern for two bars, then a 2nd remix would play for two bars, &c &c.
maybe this goes against the basic design intent of the plugin and the assumption was that users would do this themselves by exporting sections and arranging their songs, but I figured the suggestion can’t hurt
