I see that Audiomodern replied to a follow up on this in another thread, that MIDI import optimization is on the list for the future, so I wanted to see if you were interested in any thoughts from another forum member. Is this a matter of the timing being off slightly or is it that the MIDI notes seem to be triggering on the wrong steps?

Wrong steps. You can see the video. And after that they told thet it’s not planned in another thread as I remember.

Hi, Playbeat’s core engine is sequencer-based rather than MIDI-based. Because of this, MIDI import was not originally a core feature but was later added for basic timing imports at the request of users. At the moment, we’re not actively focusing on optimizing the MIDI import function, although we do have some timing improvements planned. As with all our development, we prioritize features based on user feedback, so if more users request this, we’ll try and make it happen.
