I would like to load my own chord voicings into Chordjam. These are the type of chords that are best expressed in terms of its Parent Scale, as per Ron Miller in his book Modal Jazz. For instance, if you have an F major triad with an E in the bass, it is better included in your group of Phrygian chords, while it is true you can write it as the F/E slash chord.
I have at my means the ability to create MIDI files with the pitches. Failing that, I could make the offset from the bass note in half steps, which is the same as +1 in the MIDI specification. JSON or XML could be done if need be. Bottom line, I have too many to be bothered with the Graphical interface which is overly cumbersome. Is there some kind of file format that Chordjam can read. It doesn’t appear there are any, right? I maybe could get Claude to do it.
