Soundbox 1.1 causes Studio One Pro 7 to hang

Hi,

just downloaded and installed the Soundbox 1.1 update, and now (this is easily reproducible) everytime I load Soundbox 1.1 onto an instrument track it works, but then everytime I unload Soundbox 1.1 it reliably and consistently causes Studio One 7 Pro to hang, forcing me to kill Studio One in task manager (I am on Windows 11).

Hi,

unfortunately Studio One is not generating the dump files in this instance, as I am forced to hard kill Studio One using task manager. As a result there are no dump files.

As mentioned, you should be able to reproduce the issue by doing what I said in a previous post: put soundbox 1.1 on a new instrument track, then unload soundbox from memory. It consistently causes Studio One to freeze or hang and only killing Studio One in task manager gets things useable again.

Note that previous version(s) of Soundbox didn’t do this. In the past I have been able to use Soundbox and unload it when finished with no crashes or freezing.

I also raised a ticket with AudioModern, and just now Max from AudioModern got back to me and said the issue is a known issue and will be fixed with a future update.
