Hi. In Loopmix, When you mute or solo a Track, switching to a new Remix removes the mute or solo. I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature. If feature, I would like to propose this be changed so that mute and solo states are carried over when a new remix occurs.
Hi @oobesan
All controls, including the solo and mute buttons, are saved individually with each remix and are not applied globally. This means that if a remix isn’t saved with certain controls engaged, they won’t be active when that remix key is triggered.
This behavior is intentional, as it allows for different solo and mute combinations across remixes rather than a single shared setup.
However, it’s easy to change if there’s enough user interest, we can definitely adjust it based on feedback.
Thanks for your response. I can see a use case for both scenarios. Maybe some kind of toggle switch that turns on and off the mute/solo actions across different remixes? For live performance, allowing the mute/solo actions to persist across different remixes is useful when using presets with a mix of drum beats and melodic tracks. Switching between remixed beats is fun for improvisation. But I want to do this without triggering the melodic element for remixes… until I’m ready to do so. Hope this makes sense.
This is a different but valid scenario. We’ll discuss it with the developers to see if we can add a toggle to switch between the two modes.
