# Playbeat volume low on user samples

Hey, all, I’m working on some sample design and even mastering so to speak the samples prior to uploading them into play beat. When triggered back from play beat the volume is noticeably lower. Especially compared to some of the factory sound sets.

I am exporting from Cubase in 24/48 kHz. The samples are getting the typical sample treatment of some compression and limiting to keep from clipping and provides a solid sound, but after importing to Playbeat is about 30% lower in volume. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Default mixer volume is 80 %. Maybe this is answer.
