# Playbeat - Midi receive

When I draw in Midi in Cubase, Playbeat 3 does not seem to respond to the envelopes such as Velocity. If I add 4 quarter notes on the beats in a 4/4, and note 1 on beat one’s velocity is at 0, playbeat still plays it at 100. Is there a way to get playbeat to respond to the envelopes of the Daw?

Currently this is not possible, we will check if this can be included in the next update.
