# Playbeat 4.2 Track random pitch issue

In some cases, for some unknown reason, press the random pitch button (Not Big Dice) of certain preset tracks does not work or reset to C3. I have checked or unlocked all locking options, deleted samples and replaced samples, but the random pitch still does not work. You can use the factory presets “PB4 Absence” or “PB4 Absolute” to do a simple test. Its track 6 pitch will be locked forever. In addition, PB Abstract Drift, its tracks 5-8 cannot use random pitch, I suspect this is a minor bug; it won’t completely affect the flow, but it definitely impacts the creative process.

@audiomodern Thank You so much, I solved the issues, I thought it only affected the pitch of the MIDI output! Everything is fine now.👍
