# Playbeat 3.2.8 won't run 3.2.7 does

To make it short: try installing the latest visual c++ redist packs from Microsoft, you can find them here \>\> [Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version)  
The ones under “Latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Version”, where it says _“The latest version is `14.40.33810.0`”_

btw I got Nektarine as well and couldn’t run Playbeat in it either. In fact Playbeat didn’t run anywhere anymore lol. But installing those packs (both versions, x86 and x64) solved it for me.
