# Mapping slices to MIDI

It would be great to have the ability to map MIDI keyboard keys to each individual slice of a track, this way it would be possible to launch a specific slice at any time (in the style of Big Fish Momentum). Now every time I press a key the track always starts from the beginning (or I’m missing something?). Anyway it would be a really nice feature to have

Apologies for the confusion; the initial thread was mistakenly added to Playbeat Feature Requests category before being moved to Loopmix Feature Requests.

Loopmix can accommodate up to 96 slices from the sequencer tab, a capacity that many MIDI keyboards do not match in terms of mapping range capabilities. Its an interesting feature and will see how we can allow map/select certain slices only to be mapped.
