# I want to be able to mute tracks in Playbeat 3 from Digitakt - how do I set this up?

Hello.

I have a Elektron Digitak 2.

I want to be able to mute tracks in Playbeat 3 from Digitakt - how do I set this up?

Hello Leonid,

Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried to click on the midi learn icon (top-right icon set) and then assign the mute buttons from there?

Hello. Yes, of course, I tried MIDI learning mode. On Digitakt, tracks are muted by holding down two buttons - but for some reason Playbeat doesn’t perceive this as a MIDI command.

Understood. Unfortunately we do not have access to the same module to test as a MIDI Controller.  
Is there any way that a single key/button/knob can be assigned? There are many options available in the settings \> MIDI Mappings tab.
