In settings, please add “Save default size”. Shouldn’t have to drag out the size on every instantiation. Thank you! ---

Not sure if this works in other DAWs, but I get around this issue in reaper by loading up an instance of playbeat and changing the GUI size then saving as the default (reaper plugin window setting). There should be a similar save as default in other DAWs, sorry not 100% sure if there is or what it would be called. Might be useful until they fix this. ---

for anyone interested this workaround ahk script works for me in the standalone and in my daw but it requires having autohotkey v1 installed obviously, and the winmove numbers filled in are whats good for me it needs your tweaking. script must run before you start playbeat 4 #SingleInstance, Force gosub, winwait return winwait: WinWaitActive, Playbeat 4 ; WinMove, WinTitle, WinText, X, Y , Width, Height, ExcludeTitle, ExcludeText WinMove, Playbeat 4, , , 0, 1338, 1038 WinWaitClose, Playbeat 4 gosub, winwait return ---

This is strange because when I use GateLab, it doesn’t forget the last UI size, but in Playbeat 4.2 it does forget the UI settings every time, so it should be, and is easily fixed, a bug. ---

@Audiomodern I tried standalone, AU & vst3, they’re also have same issues. I’m recorded a video in standalone. Sorry, is there really no one who has the same problem as me that the interface doesn’t remember the size? How do you solve it? I am using ableton live, I am currently really suffering, I need to keep adjusting its size to match my bad vision, any help I am very grateful.🥹 ---

I would wish for the same, not a breaking issue for me but I’d really appreciate if the plugin remembered my window size setting, yes! ---

In Reason Studios I can click on Options, Manage VST Plugins which then brings up a floating window and shows all VST plugins to enable or disable, and if I click on a specific VST this allows an option to check a box for ‘auto-scale (follows Windows display scaling)’. I don’t use Ableton Live but I know it has this auto-scaling option. ---

Thank you for your tips, but this issue is also affecting of standalone version, so I think this is a bug.
