# Automation of preset seletion

Hello. I’m using Gatelab with FL-Studio. Is it possible to automate the selection of a Gatelab preset.

Hi @Stlan,

You can automate its Quick-Load presets. The parameters that can be automated are available through Gatelab’s Settings tab.

Hey team,  
I’m trying to accomplish this in Cubase 12 via a Midi track.  
I set up the midi tracks “Midi In” with Gatelab.  
I the click “Learn” on gatelab, and then trigger a key via Midi track in cubase.  
I can see that gatelab is receiving the signal, but its not storing as a trigger for the preset.  
I can see the other option in in the settings of gatelab for quick presets with CC messages but cant figure it out.  
any help would be appreciated thanks  
In Example  
Note C3 = CC1  
Note D3 = CC2  
Note E3 = CC3
